Ho cosi' scoperto un piacere particolare in questo campo e fiore dopo fiore ho ampliato sempre piu' la varieta' e i tipi realizzati. Il materiale che uso per i miei fiori e' solo la carta comune, punzonata o ritagliata e dipinta con colori acrilici. Molti accessori per i miei fiori li acquisto da Ruth Hanke di Hanky Panky. In the Spring of 2000 I took part in a competition organized by an Italian mailing list, the theme was "the greenhouse" so I devoted myself to making many vases with flowers. Thanks to this I discovered the enjoyment in these creations and, flower after flower, I enlarged little by little the variety of plants. The material I use for my flowers is only paper that I punch or cut and paint with acrylic colors. Ecco alcune mie miniature di gerani, viole del pensiero, margherite, zinnie e due tipi di felce. I present some of my miniature flowers: geraniums, pansies, daisies, zinnias and two different ferns. Le foglie della Dracena sono dipinte e decorate una per una e tagliate con il cutter. The Dracaena leaves are painted and colored one by one and cut out with an X-acto knife. Vaso di Gerbere, realizzate con petali punzonati. Vase with Gerberas, made with pounched petals. L'ultimo mio lavoro e' questo vaso di Vriesia con il tipico fiore rosso a forma di spada. My last job is this pot of Vriesia or 'Flaming Sword' with the typical red flower. Recentemente ho deciso di realizzare petali e foglie tagliati al laser per ortensie, con la tipica dentellatura delle foglie e i petali appuntiti, come al reale. Recently I decided to make laser-cut petals and leaves for hydrangea, with the typical dentation of the leaves and the pointed petals, like to the real one. Questa e' una piantina di ortensia che ho realizzato con miei petali e le foglie tagliati al laser. This is the hydrangea pot I made with my laser-cut petals and leaves. A richiesta, realizzo anche dei tavoli da giardiniere, che riempio con vasi di fiori, buste di sementi e scatole di concimi, oltre a molti dei miei oggetti di metallo per il giardinaggio. On requests, I make also potting tables which are completed with pots of flowers, boxes of seeds and fertilizer, together with a lot of my metal garden tools. top page
